Who presides over the Joint Session of Indian Parliament?

A. Chair Person of Rajya Sabha
B. Senior most member of Parliament
C. Speaker of Lok Sabha
D. President of India


Ans. (C) Speaker of Lok Sabha

Explanation:

Joint session of Parliament can be ordered by President. Whereas, it presided over by the speaker of Lok Sabha or in his absence by Deputy Speaker, or in his absence by the deputy chairman of Rajya Sabha.

*No fresh amendment can be done in Joint session.
